Biographical Sketch: Laurie received her Bachelor's Degree in nursing from the University of Manitoba in Manitoba, Canada, where she then worked as a staff nurse in labor and delivery. She now works as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in labor and delivery at Brandon Regional Hospital in Brandon, Florida and also serves as Program Coordinator of their Perinatal Bereavement Program.
Laurie has presented on this topic throughout the Brandon area, educating health care workers on the importance of creating memories for those experiencing perinatal loss.
