Biographical Sketch:

 

Margaret is

responsible for overall clinical and administrative leadership of a tertiary- care Labor and Birth unit in collaboration with medical leadership.  She is primarily responsible for approximately 180 staff in a unit supporting approximately 9,000 births per year, and 1,200 triage visits per month.  "Maggie" is

accountable for professional nursing practice, fiscal management, human resource management, performance evaluations and educational development of the entire staff.  She recieved her BSN from University of Massachusetts- Boston in 1978 and her MS from University of Massachusetts-Lowell in 2005.
