Biographical Sketch: Lisa Klein received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Georgetown University and Masters of Science in Nursing from University of Maryland as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Maternal Newborn Nursing. Since 1978, she has worked in clinical and management positions in almost every area of women and children’s care including infertility and in-vitro fertilization, inpatient and outpatient OB, labor and delivery, NICU, and pediatric pulmonary. She is currently the Clinical Nurse specialist for a community hospital delivering over 3600 patients a year. She has presented both educational content and posters on the local, state and national level. She was the recipient of the Best Innovative Program at the 2006 National AWHONN Convention.
