Biographical Sketch: Rebecca Cypher is a perinatal nurse with over 20 years experience as a clinical nurse, university faculty, manager, educator and advanced practice nurse. Miss Cypher received her BSN from Eastern Michigan University and a MSN from Regis University as a perinatal nurse practitioner. She has held various positions in AWHONN including consultant, task force chair for the Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring course, member of the Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring revision committe, author in AWHONN's fetal heart monitoring texts, and the Armed Forces Section Chair. She has presented at local, state, and national meetings on a variety of topics to include fetal monitoring, legal issues, and high risk conditions in pregnancy.
