Biographical Sketch: Ms. Miller received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from BYU and a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Research College of Nursing, with the focus in Executive Nursing. She has 25 years of nursing, management, and teaching experience in maternal and child healthcare. She is currently an active member of several national or state advisory groups involved with perinatal, neonatal, fetal monitoring and nursing informatics. She is currently a Perinatal Consultant for HCA. Ms. Miller is an active member of the HCA Perinatal Clinical and Fetal Heart Monitoring Councils, where she has reviewed guidelines and protocols, led in the development of practice and education guidelines, and provided recommendations to advisory committees for global implementation. She is a nation-wide instructor trainer for AWHONN. Since 1999, Ms. Miller is an active board member of the Idaho State Perinatal Project which addresses perinatal and neonatal issues as well as defines the care of mothers and their newborns, for the state of Idaho.
