Biographical Sketch: Sue Leavitt Gullo, MS, RN, Director, Institute for Healthcare Improvement, is currently involved with the IMPACT Communities for Perinatal Care and Operational and Clinical Improvement of the Emergency Department. She has been involved with IHI since 1995 when she joined the Breakthrough Series Collaborative to Reduce Cesarean Section Rates as a team participant. As a result of that involvement and experience, she has been involved with many national projects both as a consultant and a national expert. Ms. Gullo has 25 years of experience as a clinical nurse and nurse manager, and in health care improvement.
