Biographical Sketch: Dr. Angelina Arcamone is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at Villanova University in the College of Nursing. She received her BSN and MSN from Villanova University and her DNSc from Widener University.  She has been a Maternal-Child Nurse for 30 years and maintains her certification as a Childbirth Educator. Her research interests include the impact of attendance at prepared Childbirth Classes on intrapartum and postpartum outcomes for primiparous women.

     Dr. Arcamone has presented her work related to outcomes from attendance at Prepared Childbirth classes at both national and international conferences. At the 2006 AWHONN convention, she presented her work entitled, "Nursing Management of Postpartum Perineal Pain: Evidence for Practice".
