Biographical Sketch: I graduated from University of Pennsylvannia  with a BSN in 1980, and obtained a MSN in Woman's Health, also from U. Penn in 1985. I have been employed by Northern Westchester Hospital for the past 16 years in various capacities, including Director of Patient Care and Standards; most recently as the Director of the Maternal/Child Health Division. I am certified as a childbirth educator and as a lactation consultant. I started the breastfeeding resource center in our hospital. I live in North Salem, NY with my two sons, Tommy and Kevin, and my husband Bill.

I have many experiences in public speaking. As a CPR instructor, I speak to Nursing and community groups. I am involved in community education. My job as director of Standards required frequent presentations to groups of varying sizes. I chair or am a member of multiple committees which lends itself to public forums.
