Biographical Sketch: Linda Newhouse received her BSN and MSN from Indiana University. She is currently the Advanced Practice Nurse/Educator for Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Riverside Methodist Hospital is a level 3 tertiary care center that does 7,000 deliveries per year. She is responsible for continuing education, orientation, policy development and revision, and program development. She is a member of the Franklin County Back to Sleep Task Force, and the Franklin County PostPartum Depression Task Force. She is the current chairman for the Central Ohio AWHONN chapter.
Linda has presented at both professional and community events. She presents OB emergencies to health care professionals around Ohio. She speaks on women's health issues to community outreach programs. She has done many poster presentations at national professional conferences. She co-authored an article on cultural diversity that was published in Nursing for Women's Health. She presented a podium presentation on safe sleep at the 1st annual Cribs for Kids conference
