Biographical Sketch: Carole Kanusky received her BSN and MSN from the University of Texas in 1993 and 1995 respectively. She practices as a CNS in women's health and as a perinatal nurse educator for a large OB/Gyn/Level I unit. Her desire is to bring evidence based practice to the forefront of her hospital and to stimulate learning in the nursing students she interacts with. She is presently AWHONN Texas Section Coordinator and involved with the Professional Education Committee of March of Dimes on a state and local level.
