Biographical Sketch: Linda C. Pugh, PhD, RNC, FAAN earned her BSN, MS, and PhD from the University of Maryland, in Baltimore. As a certified obstetric nurse, she has provided care for childbearing women for over 25 years. She is a Professor of Nursing and Director of Evidence-based Practice/Nursing Research at the York College of Pennsylvania in York, PA. Dr. Pugh is a co-developer of the Johns Hopkins Nursing Evidence-Base Model. She has published and presented her work internationally and nationally.
