Biographical Sketch: Melanie Chichester is a direct care nurse, level II, with 20 years experience in Labor & Delivery. She obtained her BSN in 1987 from the University of Delaware, and is certified in Inpatient Obstetrics, Critical Care Obstetrics, and RTS bereavement training. She has a special interest in high risk antepartum care and perinatal loss. She is published in AWHONN Nursing for Women's Health, JoPAN, AACN, and MCN. She reviews for 2 nursing journals and is involved in research concerning perinatal loss and multicultural issues.
