Biographical Sketch: Michele recieved her BSN degree from the University of Delaware in 1988, and Masters in Perinatal Nursing, Neonatal Nurse Practitrioner track, from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992. She has been employed as an NNP since 1992, most recently at Christiana Care Health Services. Michele has held faculty positions at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Delaware. In addition she has been an invited speaker and clincial instructor at the Thomas Jefferson University NNP program. She is the outreach educator for a level two nursery in her regional network and serves as a preceptor for nursing and medical students as well as pediatric residents. Michele has published several nursing articles and contributed to two textbooks. Her most recent speaking experiences include the Delaware Section of AWHONN spring dinner meeting 2007, The Delaware Nurses Association Fall 2006 meeting, The Delaware Medical Society Fall Refresher 2006, and the Delaware March of Dimes Speakers Bureau 2003- present. Michele has presented at the 1998 AWHONN National Convention and the 2000 Neonatal Advanced Practice Nursing Forum. She is a member of AWHONN, NANN, ANN, and Sigma Theta Tau.
