Biographical Sketch: Graduated from nursing school in 1976 and began women and children nursing in 1981. Since then I have received my BSN and MSN from Wilmington College, obtained certification in NCC Inpatient Obstetrics and NCC Fetal Monitoring, and instruct AWHONN Fetal Monitoring classes and NRP classes. From 2000-2003 I was a Patient CAre Coordinator in LDR and in 2004 I began my role in staff development. As a staff development specialst I quide staff through orientation and work with staff to improve nursing practice that is evidence based .
