Biographical Sketch: David A. Paul, MD is an attending neonatologist at Christiana Hospital and the duPont Hospital for Children. He is director of Neonatal Research at Christiana Care Health Services, Newark, DE and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA. He is a member of the Society for Pediatric Research. Dr. Paul’s research interests include: factors associated with neonatal illness severity and infant mortality, thyroid function in preterm infants, and thrombocytopenia in preterm infants. Dr. Paul is the Governor Appointed Chair of the Delaware Healthy Mother and Infant Consortium. Dr. Paul trained in Pediatrics and Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA.
