Biographical Sketch: Judy is the Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Women's Services at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center, a Magnet hospital, in Boise, ID.  She was the first CNS in Idaho, starting at St. Luke's in 1977.  She received her BSN from Vanderbilt University and MSN at Medical College of Georgia.   Recent honors include:  In March 2003, Judy Cross was recognized as an Idaho Woman Making History, and in May 2003 she received the prestigious Joyce Stein Award for making a positive impact on the health of women in southern Idaho’s Treasure Valley. In November 2003, Judy was named the Idaho Advanced Practice Nurse of the Year. In April 2006, she was nominated by her peers and selected to receive a St. Luke’s President’s Award, the highest honor given to an employee at St. Luke’s. 
In 2003, St. Luke’s Perinatal Depression Program received the Award of Highest Honor in national competition through the California Pacific Excellence in Patient Education Program, for the Postpartum Adjustment Education Program at St. Luke’s and the Rural Connection.  She is the author of "You've Come a Long Way Baby!  St. Luke's Postpartum Depression Follow-up Program."
