Biographical Sketch: Dr. Jallo received her BSN from UCLA., her MSN from Catholic University of America and completed her PhD in 2007 at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Viginia. She has been a staff nurse, educator, clinical nurse specialist and has served as adjunct faculty in obstetrics. She is an assistance professor at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Her area of research interest includes birth outcomes, the effect of stress on health in women, and interventions to improve birth outcomes.
