Biographical Sketch: Carol Pattillo Holliday is a Clinical Nurse V at the University of California, Irvine.  She currently works as the Research Coordinator (Hospital Outreach & Birth Visits) for the National Children's Study Orange County, CA, Vanguard Center.  Her undergraduate degree (BSN) is from Valparaiso University in 1981 and her graduate degree (MSN) is from Regis University in 2005.  Carol also holds a part time clinical faculty position at Santa Ana College where she instructs 12 RN students in their OB rotation.  Her publications have focused on intrapartum care, fetal monitoring patterns, and fetal pulse oximetry as well as newborn pain and stress in pregnancy.
