Biographical Sketch: Phyllis Schulz:
I have worked in Labor and Delivery for more than 30 years. I obtained my certification in InPatient Obstetrics in 1984. I stared my nursing career with an Associates Degree from Casper College and obtained my BSN and MS from the University of Wyoming. I am currently Clinical Nurse Specialist for Women and Childrens' Services at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming. In 2006, I completed a series of classes with the AHRQ and the VA system called Patient Safety Improvement Corps, a national program offered to each state to improve patient safety. I also have been a member of NAACOG/AWHONN since 1978, currently serve as Wyoming Section Sec/Treas and was previously Wyoming Section Chair.
