Biographical Sketch: Jenna Wolf, BSN, RN is a staff member on Labor and Delivery and Perinatal Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network (LVHHN), Allentown, Pennsylvania. Her duties as a labor room nurse allow her to work closely with physicians, residents, medical and nursing students, as well as, patients and their families to provide direct patient care in the laboring process. She functions as a scrub and circulating nurse for both routine and high risk obstetrical patients. Jenna also functions as a charge nurse for the unit, providing leadership, delegation, prioritization, and team work to facilitate a continuing level of excellence in care. Jenna has and continues to function as a preceptor to numerous graduate nurses, transitioning them to the role of staff labor room nurse. She attended Cedar Crest College and earned a Bachelors degree in nursing. She has been employed at Lehigh Valley Hospital for the past four years, first as a graduate nurse and currently as a staff nurse on the Labor and Delivery Unit. Jenna is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Nursing at DeSale’s University in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She is certified in neonatal resuscitation and ACLS. In 2006, Jenna was nominated for a LVHHN Friends of Nursing Preceptor Award.
