With both Emergency Room and Labor and Delivery experience Rhonda has brought a new level of care for laboring patients. She has been active in teaching and supporting staff in high risk cases. After learning many teens and young adults knew nothing about Safe Surrender law she organized a multidisciplinary team to develop an educational DVD. This DVD has now been viewed by more than 60,000 individuals.She was featured on the cover of Advance for Nursing Magazine Jan/2007 for her work educating young teens and adults about Safe Surrender. Recently she was taped for a national commercial on health information concerning Safe Surrender, to be released in August or September 2007.
