Biographical Sketch: Maura has more than 20 years of experience in the specialty of perinatal nursing. She has worked as a staff nurse and assistant manager in Labor & Delivery with competencies in advanced fetal monitoring, obstetrical ultrasound, EKG monitoring, and perinatal loss counseling. Her teaching experience includes serving as a clinical preceptor, NRP instructor and most recently as an Adjunct Clinical Professor at California State University, Long Beach where she teaches courses in women's health, physical assessment and medical surgical nursing. Maura holds a Master's Degree in Nursing from the University of Southern California.
