Biographical Sketch: Currently working as a manager for NNP services at Intermountain Healthcare, LDS Hospital and Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, Tracy has practiced as a neonatal nurse for over 30 years; and a nurse practitioner for 26 years.  He received his BS from Boston University and his MS from the University of Utah. He has provided direct patient care to babies and their families in freestanding children's hospitals, Level III perinatal centers and Community Level II NICUs.  Tracy also teaches at the local, national and international level; has authored various chapters, articles and abstracts; and served as data collector, investigator and co- investigator on a number of research projects.  He has been involved in nursing professional organizations in roles as varied as member to president of a national 13,000 member neonatal nursing organization.   He is proud to be married to a pediatric nurse, has two duaghters (one in nursing school) and two basset hounds. Tracy says he remains as enamored with the specialty of neonatal nursing as much now as he was when he began 30 years ago.
