Biographical Sketch: Dr Larson-Meyer is an assistant professor at the University of Wyoming. She has a background in both nutrition and exercise physiology and is active in several professional organizations including the Sports, Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutritionists (SCAN), The Vegetarian Nutrition Practice Group and the American College of Sports Medicine. She has published numerous scientific and lay articles which focus on how nutrition and exercise influence the health and performance of active individuals. Dr Larson-Meyer received her BS degree from the University of Wyoming, completed her dietetic training and masters at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and her doctoral studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her research centers around how nutrition influences the health and performance of active individuals (particularly females) at all stages of the lifecycle and at all levels of performance.
