Biographical Sketch: Lauren is a neonatal Clinical Nurse Specialist who has practiced in Washington State and previously in California for over 20 years. Her practice includes specialized interest and expertise in neonatal development, pain management, skin care, DEHP and toxicologic effects of medical care in the neonatal setting. Lauren has experience as a national and international speaker, has published clinical review articles and is in the early process of pursuing a PhD in nursing. Her research interests include the neurophysiologic disruptions of neonatal pain and opioid administration in the premature infant.
