Biographical Sketch: Mary Ellen Burke Sosa has been an obstetrical nurse for so long that she remembers working when fetal monitoring meant using a fetoscope and your hands. She received her BS from Rhode Island College and her MS as a Perinatal Clinical Specialist from Boston University. She is a nationally known author and lecturer on high-risk obsterics.
