Biographical Sketch: Trudy Eck, RNC, BSN, is the night shift coordinator in Labor and Delivery at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital (teaching hospital with ~ 4000 deliveries per year) in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She received her RN Diploma degree from Methodist-Kahler School of Nursing in Rochester, Minnesota where she participated in the Army Student Nurse Program followed by active duty, including Vietnam. She comes to us with 38 years and a wealth of experience in perinatal nursing. Trudy is certified in In-patient Obstetrics and has been an expert legal nurse consultant for over 20 years. She has lectured extensively on a variety of perinatal topics. Her depth of knowledge, "passion" for the practice, and advocacy for maternal/child health issues, combined with her welcomed sense of humor, contribute to her popularity as a guest speaker....."MIDNIGHTS ROCK!!"
