Biographical Sketch: Leigh Andrews is a Clinical Nurse Educator in the High Risk Antenatal and High Risk Labour and Delivery unit at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Leigh received her baccalaureate degree in nursing at Ryerson in 1993 and is currently working on her Masters in Nursing at the University of Athabasca. She worked 11 years as a labour and delivery nurse at Women’s College Hospital. In 2005, Leigh became an educator in the Perinatal program at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre at Women’s College Hospital. Leigh has participated in several quantitative research studies as a staff nurse and as a research nurse during her career. Recent studies include the Macs, Hapo study and the Meopol study. She lives in Toronto.
