Nurses, in ever increasing numbers, are being named as defendants in medical malpractice lawsuits, yet feel unprepared and unsupported throughout every stage of the litigation process. Learn about litigation stress, its effect on your work life, personal life and nursing practice and identify ways to support yourself and your co-workers through this difficult experience. Research and teaching opportunities are identified for nursing and hospital educators as well as the lawyers who defend nurses in court.
