F4 - The West-Texas Early Pregnancy and Chlamydia Project: A Model for Intervention

While teen pregnancy rates have dropped in some areas of the country, there has been an almost universal increase in sexually transmitted diseases in this population. New strategies are needed to both educate and/or treat affected groups. This presentation will review an early pregnancy and chlamydia project, outlining its successes and failures in controlling the rapid increase in teen pregnancy and STD in an “at-risk” population, and how this study could translate nationally.
