B1 - Failure to Rescue in Obstetrics: Implications for Patient Safety

Failure to rescue as a patient safety indicator can be used to evaluate the process of care during labor and birth. This presentation will include a review of current evidence regarding perinatal patient safety measurement and provide strategies for clinical implementation and evaluation. Case studies will be used to illustrate key safety issues.
