This presentation provides practical evidence-based guidelines for antepartum and intrapartum nurses caring for women with female genital cutting (FGC). This presentation also includes a brief explanation of FGC and focuses on how nurses can intervene to improve the childbearing experience for FGC-affected women and their families.
