Obstetric hemorrhage is a critical event that requires optimal management in order to minimize morbidity and mortality. Optimal management is promoted by comprehensive education and multidisciplinary/multidepartment collaboration. It is through this collaboration that systems and processes that facilitate obstetric management can be identified, developed and incorporated into practice.
