Title: TE3 - Current Trends In Intrapartum and Postpartum Care: Translating the Science

Learning Objectives:
- Identify appropriate indications and timing of delivery near term.
- Describe the potential benefit of MgSO4 for neuroprotection in preemies.
- Summarize new approaches to postpartum care.
This session will discuss several ‘hot topics’ in intrapartum and postpartum care, examining the latest evidence, and implications for practice. These topics include elective delivery, MgSO4 for neuroprotection, the appropriate use of oxytocin, and new approaches to postpartum care.
For 2010 Convention attendees only: You may obtain credit for TE sessions, with the exception of any TE session you attended onsite.
