Formulate strategies for facilitating healing in victims of sexual assault.
Summarize possible long term effects of sexual assault on life events such as childbearing.

Submission Description:

As nurses we cannot stop rape, but we can ease the suffering of its victims. This panel examines the nurse's role in caring for women who have experienced a sexual assault during the acute phase and subsequent life events such as childbearing and labor and delivery.
