PC2 - Post-Operative Care In The Post-Cesarean Patient
Title: PC2 - Post-Operative Care In The Post-Cesarean Patient
Disciplines: Advanced Practice (AP), Childbearing (CB), Women’s Health (WH)
Learning Objectives:
- Identify basic cardiac dysrhythmias
- Differentiate between Phase I and Phase II care
- Apply the regulatory and national standards of care in the management of the post-cesarean patient
How can we fulfill the Joint Commission mandate for comparable care in our C-section patients? What does AWHONN say? What is Phase I care? When does it end and when does Phase II begin? Can you name that rhythm? After an introduction to rhythm interpretation, this program will explore the types of anesthesia administered and the recovery of patients during the immediate post-operative phase and will provide food for thought on how to meet the standards of care in your setting.
