Submission Description:
Care in labor and birth has included wrist restraints/stirrups, directed pushing and water birth. The challenge for the provider is to know which practices are myth or tradition or evidence based. This presentation will examine historical and contemporary practices and suggest a strategy to implement evidence based care in labor and birth.
