Submission Description:
The media and literature are filled with testimonials to the value of various vitamins, supplements, fish oil and herbals. Do they have a role in preventive or therapeutic care? This presentation will examine the evidence for the use of vitamins, supplements and herbals in both health promotion and disease management. The evidence for effectiveness, safety and application in practice will be discussed.
