Submission Description:
Liability in obstetrics continues to be an issue for nurses, physicians, and midwives, with accusations related to fetal monitoring remaining at the forefront of most plaintiffs' arguments. This case-based approach will cover typical allegations, common and uncommon errors, and provide clinicians of all levels of experience with sound risk reduction strategies to avoid litigation, promote safe care, and provide a sound defense for their care if litigation arises.
