  • Submission Description:
    Several obstetric anesthesia emergencies will be covered in these lectures, including: failed intubation; intubation in preeclampsia; local anesthetic systemic toxicity (LAST); maternal cardiac arrest. Disaster preparedness for the obstetric unit will also be discussed. Come along to learn more about obstetric anesthesia and how your knowledge can improve patient care in labor and delivery, and ask those questions that you have always wanted to ask.
