  • Compare the incidence of neonatal hypoglycemia related to maternal treatment with Glyburide vs. Insulin.

    • Submission Description:
    Anecdotally, the nursing staff felt that infants born to women treated with Glyburide had increased rates of hypoglycemia after birth. This prompted a group of OB RNs and Certified Diabetes Educators to conduct a retrospective study looking at the incidence of neonatal hypoglycemia in women with GDM or Type II DM treated with glyburide vs. insulin.
