  • Describe how racial and ethnic disparities may contribute to adverse maternal birth outcomes.
  • Examine the relationships between maternal health, demographic variables, birth outcomes, and neighborhood characteristics of women who gave birth in Camden NJ over a 5 year time frame.
  • Explore how choropleth maps can be used by clinicians to gain a more in depth understanding of neighborhood characteristics and birth outcomes of women living in urban areas.
