Submission Description:
The legalization of marijuana at a state level has raised many issues for which there are no precedents. There is conflict between state and federal laws, lack of evidence regarding exposure risks after use during pregnancy, lack of education (lay and professional), policies, and standards. Additionally there are ethical and psychosocial issues related to marijuana use in childbearing families. This presentation will explore all of these topics, creating dialogue about the issues.
