Call for Poster Proposals General Overview

Are you interested in presenting a poster session at AWHONN 2022?

Contribute to AWHONN’s mission to “empower and support nurses caring for women, newborns, and their families through education, research, and advocacy” by submitting a proposal for poster presentation at the Annual Convention in Aurora, CO, June 25-29, 2022.

The women’s health nursing community faces challenges that, without a global agreement in practice, can yield inconsistent outcomes for patients and frustrate the professionals charged with their care. Proposal submissions should be timely, relevant, and evidence-based topics that feature best practices in education, research, clinical practice, and leadership intended to engage our participants and assist AWHONN nurses to thrive in today’s ever-changing, global health care environment.

Convention Learning Outcomes:

  • Construct methods of translating diversity, equity, and inclusion concepts into education, research, practice, and leadership globally.
  • Facilitate education that promotes choice within safe care parameters.
  • Develop empowerment approaches that contribute to the health of women and newborns worldwide.
