The staff at Baylor University Medical Center’s Antepartum unit cares for women with unique needs that may that require prolonged hospitalization.   A nurse lead multidisciplinary team collaborates to organize a weekly plan of care for each individual.  The multidisciplinary team includes neonatology, psychology, social work, pastoral care, occupational and physical therapy, therapeutic recreation, and nutrition.    By connecting the heart and science of caring this team meets the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our patient population.
