Bundles for the treatment of severe sepsis have improved the survival rates in the adult critical care setting.  Many patients outside of critical care develop sepsis; even young, healthy obstetric patients.  It's time to move these evidence based bundles out of the ICU and start lifesaving treatment as soon as symptoms are suspected.  This case study will help identify the early symptoms that will raise your level of suspicion and improve outcomes for obstetric patients.
