This session presented by clinical nurse, a physical therapist and a research nurse will provide participants with an evidence-based, ergonomic approach to preventing employee injuries in the workplace including a review of the most frequent types of injuries in maternity services. Methods to increase staff awareness of the potential dangers in the patient care setting and ways to engage staff in behaviors that may prevent injury to themselves and others will be included.
