The numbers of MRSA positive patients presenting for obstetrical care has risen at an alarming rate as MRSA spreads and emerges as a community-acquired pathogen. The entire healthcare team needs the knowledge to care for these MRSA couplets with confidence and consistency. The development and implementation of a program of education, MRSA standardized order set and patient tracking will be shared in an effort to help replace the fear of MRSA with confidence and knowledge.
