Women remember their births forever, including those who supported them. This talk will integrate the evidence for “how” we care for women during one of the most intimate, challenging, and powerful times in their lives. It will draw from research and video interviews with nurses, midwives, physicians, and women in the US and UK to examine how to best incorporate the heart and science in the care of women in an increasing technological intrapartal environment.
