The Advanced Preceptor Training program is designed for nurses who wish to increase their competency by: 1) understanding fundamental personality differences, 2) identifying different approaches to learning, 3) practicing effective feedback that fosters preceptee development, 3) remembering the challenges of being a novice nurse, 4) defining the specifics of a supportive learning environment, and 5) discussing best practices with other nurses.
